1929-2016
Ronald Church, formerly of Riverview, NB passed away at
Jordan Lifecare Center in River Glade, on Monday, November 14, 2016.
Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Aaron and Frances
(MacPherson) Church.
Ron was a long time member of the Mason’s, Acacia Lodge #49
F&AM. He was a proud Past President of the
Riverview Progressive Conservative Party. After many years of working
in the jewellery business Ron decided to open his own business called
Church’s Jewellery. He had many hobbies including fishing, hunting,
spending time at Mary’s Point, and most importantly spending time with
his grandchildren attending horseshows, basketball games, cheerleading
and dance.
Survived by his daughters, Rhonda Smalley (Kevin Shannon)
Lower Jemseg and Sherrill Lewis (Reg) Glenvale; son, Darren
Church, Riverview; sister, June Aud (late Donald) Moncton;
one brother, Don Church (Daryl) Halifax, NS; three adoring
grandchildren, Erica Smalley, Ryan Lewis and Elyssa
Lewis.
Besides his parents he was pre-deceased by his wife
Eunice E. (Brewster) Church in 2007; sister, Elsie-Mae;
brother Gerald and infant brothers Aaron and Harry
Vincent.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers &
Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 2-4
& 7-9 pm. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle
Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Memorial
Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 am
with Rev. Tim MacKinnon officiating.
Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial
Gardens.
Donations in Ron’s memory made to the Canadian Cancer
Society, or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the
family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers &
