Roger Daigle
1946-2017
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Roger Daigle 71, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent, NB passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris
Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday, September 10, 2017.
Born in Aldouane, he was the son of the late René Daigle
and late Rosaline (Robichaud) Daigle. Before retiring, Roger
was employed as a truck driver.
Roger will be sadly missed by his common law spouse, Alley
Poirier of St. Louis; two daughters, Julie Daigle (Greg Genereaux) of
Oshawa, ON, Lisa Goring (Chris) of Whitby, ON; one son, Wayne Daigle
(Shannon Robinson) of Bowmanville, ON; one step-daughter, Huguette
Poirier of Moncton; two step-sons, Benjamin Poirier of Moncton, Benoit
Poirier (Veronique) of Moncton; five grandchildren, David, Hayden,
Joseph, Cody, Emily; one great grandchild, Bryson and four
step-grandchildren, Dimitre, Rosey, Benjamin and
Benson.
He is also survived by two sisters, Germaine Vautour (late
Yvon) and Lucille Cormier (Donald); as well as by many nieces and
nephews in New Brunswick and Ontario.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Stella
Dempsey.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Thursday at 9:00
am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00 am, St. Louis des
Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
