Obituary of Rodger Baldwin
BALDWIN – Rodger Gordon Sheldon
Passed away at the age of 55 years at Fox Ridge Care Community, Brantford, surrounded by his family on Wednesday December 27, 2017. Rodger was born in Toronto on January 23rd 1962, where he spent half of his life, the other half he spent in Belleville, Ontario working on fixing his home and the last 2 years of his life in Brantford Ontario to be with his siblings. Rodger was a very outgoing kind individual, who made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed working with his hands repairing anything he could. Rodger had many talents such as home renovations, mechanical work and was also very artistic. He is survived by his mother Joyce Baldwin-Price, son of the late Lamar Thagard Sr, brothers Chris and James Baldwin, and Lamar Thagard Jr and his late sister Earlene Harbacek and Denise Thagard, many nieces and nephews and host of friends. Friends may pay their respects to the family at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road N. Brantford on Sunday January 7, 2018 from 1-3 pm. Memorial service will follow in the chapel at 3 pm. In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada under “In Loving Memory of Rodger Baldwin (Uncle)”.
