Obituary It is with profound sadness to inform you of the peaceful passing of Vern. Vern was a kind, loyal and gentle man and will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his family and many friends. His grace & courage was constant for the entire course of his illness. Survived by loving wife Marjorie; children, Ken, Gordon (Monica), Sherri (Mike); three grandchildren, Paul, Lauren, Samantha; one great-grandson Malcolm; and one brother Ernie. He was predeceased by his parents, Bob & Ruth McCormack; sisters, Doris Boston and Marjorie Smith. Special thanks to U of A Hospital, Dr. Ringrose & her caring team on Station 5D4. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South Chapel, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vern’s memory to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, 6110 Fulton Road NW, Edmonton, AB, T6A 3T3 or a charity of your choice.
