Rivard « Everett » Melanson
1943-2017
CLAIRVILLE, NB – It is with heavy hearts and deep
sorrow that we announce the passing of Everett Melanson 74, at the
Moncton City Hospital on Monday, September 25, 2017. Born in
Moncton, he was the son of the late Fidele Melanson and late Philomene
(LeBlanc) Melanson. Everett was employed as a carpenter and
worked in the USA and Canada and was proud of the time that he worked
with his son and grandson.
Everett will be sadly missed by his wife,
Joan (Hudson) Melanson of Clairville; his son, John
Melanson of Beersville; two grandchildren, Justin Melanson (Natacha)
of St. Charles, Jennifer Melanson (Derek) of Rexton and seven great
grandchildren, Jayden, Jase, Jaxton, Talisha, Kira, Caleb and
Dylan.
He is also survived by one brother, Oswald Melanson of
Clairville and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters,
Yolanda and Diana.
In honouring Everett’s wishes there will be no
visitation at the funeral home or funeral service. A private
family Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto (523-4252).
