Hambly, Rita Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of family on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of John for 58 years. Loving mother of Ann Hambly, Elizabeth Sisolak (Dan), David Hambly (Leslie), Helen Hambly-Odame (Bill), Margaret Hambly-LaPointe (Trevor), Charles (Chuck) Hambly (Jennifer). Known lovingly as « Chicky Grandma » by her 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Wink Mudie (the late Kay) and John Mudie (the late Dagmar). Rita’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016 and on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday followed by a reception. The Reverend Canon Robert Hulse officiating.
