Richard (Dick) M. Stevenson 1946-2016 Richard (Dick) M. Stevenson of Riverview passed away Sunday May 15, 2016 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, NS he was the son of the late Lloyd and Daisy (Hubley) Stevenson. He was an active member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9270, a former member of the Riverview Lions Club and was an active bowler prior to his failing health. He was a salesman all of his working life. Dick will be dearly missed by his wife Patricia (Trefry) Stevenson, two daughters; Stacey O’Handley (Corey) of Scarborough, Krista Gallant (Garth) of Camrose, AB, a son, Darren of Michigan, 8 grandchildren: Evan, Ben, Jakob, James, Cole, Owen, Carter and Griffin. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Diane Frigon. The family will be receiving relatives and Friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, with parish prayers to take place at 8:30 PM. The funeral mass will be celebrated from The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Fatima Drive, Riverview on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM. The interment will take place in Alderwood Cemetery. Donations to The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Building Fund or the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
