Richard Alcorn
1951-2017
It is with sadness that the family of Richard Ernest Alcorn,
husband of Wendy (MacNeill) Alcorn, of Norton, NB, announce his death,
which occurred at the Sussex Health Centre on October 22, 2017. He was
born on March 23, 1951 in Sussex, the son of the late Ernest and Elva
(Robinson) Alcorn.
Richard is survived by his wife Wendy; son Rick and daughter
Lisa Alcorn both of Norton; sister-in-law Kathy (Brent) Rice of Sussex
Corner; brother-in-law Ernest Raven of Norton; special sister Starr;
nephew Jason (Jen) Swetnam; nieces Kate (Ryan) Golden and Jenn (Gerry)
Vandersluys; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by
his son Michael; grandson Mark; sister Sharon.
The family will receive visitors at Sherwood’s
Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18
Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Thursday, October 26, 2017, from 2 to 5
and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood’s
Chapel on Friday at 11:00 am.
Memorial donations in memory of Richard may be made a Living
Memorial or to the memorial of the donor’s choice. Personal
