JERABEK, RENATE Renate Johanna Jerabek, 91, of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Ivany Place in Bedford, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schweinfurt, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Thekla Ziegler. Renate attended university in Munich, Germany and later taught school there before meeting and marrying her husband, Frank Jerabek in 1957. They lived in Quebec, Peru, and Salt Lake City before settling in Dartmouth during 1969. Renate was a faithful member of Saint Peter’s Catholic Church.
