It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Remple on November 7, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Peter was born on a farm near Rosthern, Saskatchewan, and spent most of his working life with Firestone Tire in Saskatoon, Regina and Calgary. His retirement years were spent enjoying camping, fishing, watching sports, travelling and spending time with family.
Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Norma, as well as his children Sherri (Kelly) Smith, Shelane (Dwayne) Goosen, Byron (Heather Klassen), Teena Remple, and Bud (Lorraine) Dunn. He is survived by grandchildren Ryan, Joel, Dylan, Cody, Josh, Courtney, Nikki, Michael and Chris, and great grandchildren Atlis, Ryver, Arianna, Damon, Tyson and Patience. Peter was predeceased by his son Brad, sister Ann Froese, and infant sister Kathy Rempel.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Home Care nurses, and all the staff at Dulcina Hospice for their caring during Peter’s final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Harvest Hills Alliance Church (10099 Harvest Hills Blvd. NW, Calgary, AB) on Monday, Nov.14, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
