Obituary for Remona A. Grenier
In Loving Memory of
Mrs. Remona A. Grenier (nee Pender)
August 14th, 1932 – October 27th, 2017
It is with great sadness that her family announce her passing on Friday October 27th, 2017 at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls at the age of 85 years. She was the beloved wife of the late James Grenier and the daughter of the late George and Rachel Pender (nee Willard). Remona leaves behind her children Elaine Glenesk (Ted), Stewart Grenier (Jeanne), Jody Grenier (Cindy), Shawn Grenier (Marie) and Linda Lascelle (Norm), her son-in-law Ken Nichol, her 24 grandchildren and her 30 great grandchildren, her sisters-in-law Ramona Renwick, Shirley Thomas (Gord) and Fern Mousseau (Leo). She will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
She was also predeceased by her daugthers Leianne Hunter and Darlene Nichol, her grandson Paul Hunter, all her siblings: Claude Pender (Elizabeth), George Pender, Georgina Pender, Mabel (Wilson Bridgeman), Cecelia (Charles Sopchyshyn), Elvina (John Garlock), Emerson (Doris Pender), Violet (Orville Biglow), Shirley Neil, Norma (William McMillan), Freddrick Pender, Beatrice (Jack Little) and Lila Pender and by her brother and her sister-in law Leo Grenier, Onisieme Grenier, Betty St-Jacques, Thomas Grenier (Doris) and Donald Renwick.
Visitations will be held on Wednesday November 1st, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, Ontario and a Graveside service will be held on Friday November 3rd, at 3 pm at the Porquis Cemetery.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the South Centennial Manor Redevelopment project or to the Anson General Hospital would be greatly appreciated by her family.
