Beauchamp, Raymond ‘Bee Bee’ – With profound sadness the family announces the death of Raymond ‘Bee Bee’ Beauchamp at the age of 64 years. Bee Bee passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital on Wednesday July 27, 2016 with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Belleterre, Quebec on January 16, 1952 to the late Antoine Henri Beauchamp and to the late Germaine Dumais, Bee Bee will be remembered by many for his love of music and as a talented musician who always enjoyed sharing his talents. He was a founding member of his band known as ‘Homefires’ and helped his community with many fundraisers for those in need. Bee Bee was a selfless man and gave of himself to anyone without question. He was also the founder of the yearly « Live Love Laugh » fundraiser which he organized in memory of his son Eric to assist those in financial and emotional need when facing the uphill battle against cancer. His generosity helped many local residents. Bee Bee recently went through the process of purchasing a special refrigerator for the chemo room at Temiskaming Hospital in hopes of receiving treatments locally. This fridge will now help other members of our community access local treatment. Loved by everyone, Bee Bee had a heart of gold and loved being in the presence of his family. He will be remembered as a loyal father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. His infectious smile will be missed by all those whose life he touched. Predeceased by his parents; his cherished son Eric Beauchamp and by his nephew Jigger Lendt. Bee Bee is the devoted father of Bobby and his wife Chrissy Beauchamp and Ray Jr. Beauchamp. He is the cherished grandfather of Jessy, Dylan, Alicia, Riley, Brandon, Sheldon, Jayden and Bentley; great-grandfather of Anthony and Jacob. Also left to mourn are his brothers and sisters Claude Beauchamp, Michel and his wife Martha Beauchamp, Nicole and her husband Bones Orange, Renee and her husband Richard Lendt; 10 nieces and nephews; 16 great- nieces and nephews as well as extended family members and countless friends. The family of the late Bee Bee Beauchamp will welcome friends at Buffam Leveille Funeral Home 483 Broadway Street Haileybury Friday, July 29, 2016 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm -10:00 pm and on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Église Ste-Croix /Holy Cross Church 341 Sutherland Way Haileybury, Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00 am. Father Alexis O’Lenga officiating.
