1932-2016
Ray Glenen of Riverview passed away Tuesday
August 23, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Montreal he was the
son of the late John and Ellen (Cotnam)
Glenen.
Ray was a veteran of the Korean War, having
served with the Royal Canadian Navy. He attended the Immaculate Heart
of Mary Catholic Church and had retired from Moncton Community
Residences. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather
who always managed to keep busy, yet it was his family that he was
most proud of.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife,
Cecelia (Quinlan), daughters; Donna Cruickshank (Todd) of Moncton,
Mary Glenen-Calder (Mike) and Karin Glenen-Gosselin
both of Mississauga, sons: Ray (Jill) of Lower Sackville, Mark
(Patricia) of Toronto, Rob (Laura Lamey) of Grand Barachois and John
of Riverview. He is also survived by a brother,
Ralph (Faye) of Stellarton, NS,
and fifteen grandchildren; Tyler (Lauren), Heather,
Katlin, Laura, Cory, Marisa, Haley, Casey, Zach, Adam, Sam, Faith,
Amy, Colleen and
Quinlan.
The family will be receiving relatives and
friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330
Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Friday August 26, 2016 from
6-8 PM, with a private family service to take place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Donations to the War
Amps in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated
