It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the most amazing man in our lives PHILLIP DAVID MYLES, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August, 21, 2011 at the age of 63 years. Phil is survived by his loving wife Roberta nee Walker; son Peter (Diane); daughters Sherri (Barry) LaGrandeur, Brandi (Dave) Hutchison; 12 precious grandchildren Steven, Daniel, Justin, Hailey, Nick, Mikey, Richie, Jelly, Shanny, Sammy, Katelynn, little Phil; brothers Peter (Lina), Danny (Nancy), Charlie (Karen), Matt (Kathy); sister Bonnie MacPhee; Phils other Mom Eva Robertson; special parents Marge & Hector Cote; numerous nieces and nephews. Phil was predeceased by his son Gerald; parents Dorothy nee Robertson and Ed Myles; brothers David and Donald. Phil was born in Pincher Creek St. Vincent’s Hospital on July 21, 1948 to Ed and Dorothy Myles. He was raised at Pincher Station at Myles Motors Service Station on highway 3. Phil received his education at Central & Matthew Halton. He met and married Roberta Walker in 1967. Phil worked for the Town of Pincher Creek for 30 years. Phil enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. Phil treasured his family the most both immediate and extended, to Phil family was everything. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Saturday, August 27, 2011at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Pincher Creek, 1240 Wentworth Ave. Pincher Creek, AB, Friends may meet the family from 12:00 P.M. to 12:45 P.M. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made in Phil’s memory to the A.L.S. Society of Alberta 250, 4723-1st St. S.W., Calgary, AB, T2G 4Y8.
