Obituary
The family of Peter Demulder is saddened to announce his passing on December 2, 2016 at the age of 87 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Jill Demulder and Sally Bradford (Dean); son, Bob Demulder; grandchildren, Mark Bradford and Siobhan Demulder. He will be deeply missed by his friends and the coffee crew at Tim Hortons.
He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Deirdre Demulder on September 15, 2016.
Peter was born in Ostend, Belgium and came with Deirdre to Canada in 1964. Peter trained as a medical lab technician in England, taught medical lab technology at NAIT and later, was Chief Lab Tech for Kasper Medical Labs until he retired. Peter was an outdoorsman and wildlife enthusiast pursuing many adventures in the arctic, mountains and tropics. His primary interest was birds and birdwatching and was often found traipsing around the Big Lake area checking up on the avian population. He coordinated the St. Albert Christmas Bird Count for many years and was regularly quoted in the St. Albert Gazette’s bird articles. He was a lifetime member of the Edmonton Nature Club. Peter enjoyed teaching about birds to anyone who would listen.
