Perry “Jake” McCulloch
January 23, 1996 – December 16, 2016
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Perry “Jake” McCulloch at the early age of 20. Jake grew up in Maple Ridge, attending Maple Ridge Elementary and Graduating from Pitt Meadows Secondary. He loved sports, playing lacrosse, hockey and basketball throughout his life. Jake will be greatly missed by his parents, Shane and Kerry, his brother Clayton, grandparents Tod/Vivian and Max/Judy, girlfriend Arissa, many aunts, uncles and cousins plus a lot of great friends. It’s been a few years now but Grandma Velma will be there to watch over him. He will always be remembered for his larger than life attitude, fun loving spirit and fierce protectiveness of the people he cared about. Jake displayed tremendous courage during difficult times, and even though he ended his own life, we find comfort that he is now at rest and without pain. A celebration of Jake’s life will be held on January 7, 2017 from 2:30-5:30pm at South Bonson Community Centre, 10932 Barnston View Road, Pitt Meadows. Everyone is welcome.
With Jake’s love of animals in mind, a donation can be made to a local animal rescue agency in lieu of flowers. Should you choose to do so, donations can be made either online or at the Celebration on Jan 7th to L.E.A.S.H. Animal Welfare Society – leashsavinglives.com.
