Obituary
Our beloved Matriarch, Pearl Palylyk passed away May 29, 2017. Pearl will be sadly missed but lovingly and joyfully remembered by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and their families; and her many friends. Pearl was the epitome of a great lady. Gracious and gentle but strong and courageous; dignified but humble; progressive thinking but solid in her belief of good old-fashioned values kindness, respect, loyalty, fairness and forgiveness. Her wonderment of nature’s beauty and all its creatures, as well as her unwavering faith in human goodness was always so refreshing and inspiring. As was her belief that the young, through their brilliance and with modern technology, will find solutions to correct the ills of the world. Those of us who knew and loved this amazing lady learned so much from her. We will all forever miss her love, guidance and reliability. But we take comfort in knowing that she is once again with her beloved infant son Mark and her husband John; and with her parents Nastasia and Andrew, brothers George, Bill, Karl, John, sister Lucille; sisters and brothers-in-law and other loving family members. And, again re-united with her dear friends that she loved and missed for so many years. Thank you, Dear Mom, Grandma, G.G., Friend. You have taught us well. Lots of love, your Children Carole and Don, Grandchildren Sheryl and Craig, Lisa and Stuart, Great-Grandchildren Connor, Jillian, Jane, Ben; and Children Shirley and Vic, Grandchildren Melanie and Gary, Rayna and Jonathan, Great-Grandchildren Allison and Jeff, Paige, Jacob, Ayla.
Thank you to the wonderful, compassionate people of all disciplines, at Sturgeon Community Hospital, St. Albert AB for your kindness and professional care of Pearl, as well as your thoughtfulness and patience extended to her family and friends. It meant so much to her and us, and will never be forgotten. Thank you also, to Debbie Lambert and the people at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home for your kindness and respectful care of our beloved Pearl.
