Pearl Heuer, age 87, of Swift Current, SK passed away December 10, 2016 at Cypress House in Swift Current. There will not be a service at this time for Pearl. Pearl is survived by her husband Edward Heuer; sons Chris and Terry Heuer; brother Harvey (Henriette) Davis and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents’ James and Alice Davis; her sister Joan (Norman) Winship. Pearl was born on November 17, 1929 in Climax, SK and grew up in Canuck. She moved with her family to Burnham where her father was the grain buyer for the local elevator. This is where she met her soon-to-be husband Edward Heuer. She married Ed on June 25, 1948 in Swift Current. They had two sons, Chris and Terry. Pearl and Ed lived in their own home until February of this year when she moved to Cypress House, where she made many new friends. Pearl enjoyed fishing and camping, travelling, bowling, playing cards, taking gambling tours, bingo, Little Theatre performances, reading, crafts, listening to music, gardening, canning vegetables, fruit and fish, growing flowers, outings with friends, and going for drives. She had many cats over the years. She also enjoyed dining out and going to the Market Square during the summer. Special thanks to the Cypress House staff for taking good care of our mother. Pearl will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. In her memory, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Warren’s Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
