Pauline Christine Shepherd (Nee MacIntyre)
1926-2016
Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge, Eldon
the passing of Pauline Christine Shepherd (Nee MacIntyre) age 89
formerly of Cardigan, devoted wife of the late Francis B. Shepherd
occurred on Thursday, August 18, 2016 with family by her side. Born in
Cardigan on December 9, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Wallace
and Elizabeth (Foley) MacIntyre. Pauline is survived by her daughters
Christine (Mike) Currie and Joanne Gardiner; cherished grandchildren
Mark Currie, Brad Currie, Joseph Gardiner, Kyle Gardiner, Paul
Gardiner, Francis Shepherd and Kenneth Shepherd; 9 great
grandchildren; daughter-in-law Anne Shepherd; sister-in-law Joyce
(John) Fitzpatrick; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Pauline was
the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased
by daughters Sylvia Shepherd, Donna Shepherd, son Gerard Shepherd and
son-in-law Keith Gardiner.
Resting at Ferguson
Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Sunday, August 21, 2016
from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Monday, August 22,
from All Saints Catholic Church, Cardigan at 10:00 am.
Interment to take place in the Parish Cemetery. Donations to the IWK
or Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Royal Canadian Legion
Branch 19, Cardigan will hold a legion Service at the Funeral Home at
5:45 pm on Sunday evening.
