Obituary
The family of Paul Francis Crough of St. Albert, Alberta is saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the age of 95 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 71 years, Rose Rita; children: Beverly Voigt, Mary Ann (Tom) O’Flaherty, Patricia (Stephen) Baltzer, Francis Crough, Dennis (Wilma) Crough, Monica (Neil) McCullough; 14 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Paul is also survived by his siblings, Don (Dorothy) Crough, Pat (Sue) Crough, MaryLou (Raymond) Rouault, and Karen (Gerald) Knievel.
He is predeceased by his mother and father Joseph and Annah Crough; brothers, Wilfred Crough and Father Emmett Crough; sister in law, Joan Morris; nephew Brad Morris; great nephew, Corey Morris; son in law, Bob Voigt, and his grandson Bradley Baltzer.
Paul was known by many as a teacher, but he was a man of many interests. He loved to travel, was a farmer, a baseball player, a drummer in a band, was an avid reader, had his pilot license, owned a plane, sold Encyclopedia World Books, was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. He was strong in his convictions, quick to the aid of the less fortunate, quick to love, quick to make friends, loyal, and compassionate. He was a husband to one, a father to a few, grandpa to several, brother and uncle to a large family, teacher to many and a friend to all. He left his mark on our world.
A Prayer Service will take place at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 75 Poirier Avenue, St. Albert, AB with a viewing and last respects one hour prior to service.
A Mass of Chirstian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 75 Poirier Avenue, St. Albert, AB
