Van Kooten, Patricia (nee Ard) Peacefully at her home with her family by her side went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, July 22, 2016 at age 66. Pat, beloved wife of Willem Van Kooten for 43 years. Loving mother of Jennifer (Matthew Purdon) and Gerrit Van Kooten. Proud grandma of Erin and Boston. Dear sister of Joan (Bill Hollingshead), Jane (the late Marcel Boucher), Judy Bryce and Kathy (Lothar Assmus). Predeceased by her parents Willard and Alma Ard. Pat will be lovingly remembered by her aunt Connie McKay, her nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thanks to the staff at Sunnybrook, Emily, her support workers from Paramed, especially Amanda, Ruth and Celeste for their wonderful care and support. Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 10 am until the time of Service in the chapel at 11 am.
