It is with great sadness that Patricia’s family announces her passing on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the age of 82 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Clinton (2012); parents William and Evelyn Bennett; granddaughter Melissa Van Dijk; and brother Teddy.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Debbie (Reinhard) Janisch, Clint (Lenita), Kellie (Dennis) Fox and Paul (Shawna); grandchildren Ryan, Dustin, Daniel, William, Desiree, Anthony, Chase, Shaylise, Garrett and Christopher; three great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
Pat was born and raised in Hamilton, ON where she married Clint. They were married for 59 years.
As a young woman she excelled in track and field and held a Canadian record in sprinting. After several moves they settled in Regina in 1967 where they raised their family.
Her greatest priority was her family with whom she had an extremely close relationship. Pat will be remembered for her generosity and her kind heart.
She volunteered countless hours to Sask Tae Kwon-do. She loved her family trips to Las Vegas and her weekly trips to Casino Regina. Pat will always be loved and missed by those whose lives she touched.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Pat may be made to the Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6.
Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.
