Osélie Richard
1930-2017
SAINT-IGNACE, NB –
Osélie Richard, 87, passed away peacefully, surrounded by
her family, at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis on Thursday, August
17th, 2017. Born in Saint-Louis,
she was the daughter of the late Willie and Lucie (Guimond)
Comeau.
Osélie will be sadly missed by her two
daughters, Cécile Vautour (Eddy) of St-Charles and Diana
Johnson (Bernard) of St-Ignace; two sons, Louis (Yvette) of
Saint-Louis and Willie (Barbara) of Cobourg, ON; 10 grandchildren,
Sylvie, Christian, Lucie-Anne, Kathy, Geneviève, Benoit,
Rose, Charles, Cassandra and Kevin, nine great grandchildren and one
great great granddaughter.
She also leaves behind four sisters, Emilia Richard
(Vincent) of St-Ignace, Yolande McGill (late Eric), Céline
Comeau (Emery) and Lucienne Daigle (Elmer), all of Saint-Louis; one
brother, Roger Comeau (Alfreda) of Saint-Louis; one sister-in-law,
Isola Comeau (late Simon) of Saint-Louis; as well as many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, Osélie is predeceased
by her husband, Gérard; three sisters, Marguerite Babineau,
Alexina Landry and infant Emilia; and three brothers, Simon, Cyriac
and her twin brother infant Yvon.
Visitation will be held at
Thompson’s Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent, on Tuesday
from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm and Wednesday from 2:00pm until
the departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated
Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017 at 4:00pm,
Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Ignace.
A donation of an hour of your time with a person in
need (sick, in a nursing home or hospital, etc.) would be appreciated
by the family.
The family would like to express their gratitude to
the staff at the Villa Maria and to Dr. André Boucher for
the excellent care that was given to
Osélie.
