With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father. Norman is survived by his loving wife Elaine, daughter Nora (Peter), son Colin (Norma), son Nelson (Sophia), grandchildren Tiffany (Chris), Christina, Nick, Kieran, great grandson Brayden, brother Paul (Norma), nephew Jason (Susan) and their children Sydney and Zachary and niece Gina and her son Kalen. Norman was born in Taishan China and immigrated to Canada in 1950. Norman and Elaine owned Chan’s Restaurant on Oak Bay Ave. for many years. Norman loved his family very much and was always eager to help out a friend. He loved his daily walks with his dog and over the years made many friends along the way.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 10:00 am at McCall Gardens (Royal Oak) 4665 Falaise Drive. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the BC SPCA or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Forever loved and missed.
