Nora passed away on Sunday, May 28th, 2017 at Oak Bay Lodge in Victoria, BC at the age of 88.
Born on April 15th, 1929 on the family farm near Duff, Saskatchewan, she was the youngest daughter and the fifth child of six of Adam and Philippina Herman.
She was predeceased by her husband Dan (February 2008); her two brothers Louis and Willie; and her two sisters Violet and Edith.
Nora is survived by her sister Irene; her children Gary (Lisa), Darvin (Lisa) and Brenda (Kim); and seven grandchildren Dustin, Joshua, Noah, Rachel, Adam, Taylor and Kelsey. Married at age 18, Nora lived in Colmer, Truax, Loreburn and Regina, Saskatchewan and Victoria, BC.
She spent her early years as a devoted wife and mother. Once her children were school age, she began her very successful career in banking at the Sherwood Credit Union.
Throughout her life Nora strove for excellence with a kind gentle manner that earned her great respect from family, friends and colleagues.
A CELEBRATION OF NORA’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
