Obituary for Nancy Pizzurro
PIZZURRO, Nancy
With sadness, we announce the passing of Nancy on November 24, 2017 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre at the age of 79. Predeceased by her parents Fortunato and Carmela, she leaves behind her beloved sister Virginia (Salvatore Ragno). Proud aunt of Vera (John Diniz), Anthony (Lisa), and Diana (Richard Weinstein). Great-aunt to Matthew, Nicholas, Rachel, Aaron, Adrian, Max, Simon, and Aria. Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery (305 Erskine Ave. – Mount Pleasant Rd., north of Eglinton Ave. E.). In memory of Nancy, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to either Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (Palliative Care Department), Community Living Toronto, or SPRINT Senior Care.
