Death Notice
SYER, Nancy Ann– Peacefully with family by her side, Nancy Ann Syer, age 72, of Vision Rest Home, Sarnia passed away on November 24, 2017 at Bluewater Health, Palliative Care. She is survived by brothers Bob and his wife Gail of Waterloo, and Dave and his wife Donna of Sarnia and also nieces, nephews and their families. Nancy is predeceased by her parents Eileen and Arthur Syer and sister and brother-in-law Lynda and Jim Short. She will be sadly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and all those who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the staff at Vision Rest Home, Dr. Nyholt, Dr. Kim and the Palliative Care team at Bluewater Health for their comfort and care. Also thanks to CCAC, VON, the Red Cross and Smith Funeral Home for their guidance and support. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 28 from 10:30-11:30 am. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Nancy’s life at 11:30 am on Tuesday at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to The Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Visitation
Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 28 from 10:30-11:30 am.
Service
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Nancy’s life at 11:30 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
