Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & sister passed into God’s presence on Tuesday Oct 25, 2016 (3 weeks prior to her 95th birthday) at Burton Manor long-term care facility in Brampton, Ontario. She was predeceased by husband Charles Sydney Thomas (Chuck), to whom she was married for 67 years, and sister Violet Vale and brothers Laurence Vale Sr. and Leonard Vale. She is survived by sisters Vera Merchant and Anita Stainton and sons, Charles Michael Thomas (Mike), Sydney Frederick Thomas (Ted), and Robert Leonard
Thomas (Len). She is the grandmother of Karen Amier, Scot MacDonald, Melissa Kelly, Michael Thomas and Danielle Thomas. She is the great grandmother of Brennan Kelly, Tiernan Kelly, Maxx Amier and Zackary Amier.
Family and friends will gather at the Ward Funeral Home
“Brampton Chapel,” 52 Main Street South (Hwy #10), Brampton on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m., for persons to come as able, and the funeral service will start at 2:30 p.m. Interment will occur privately and separately on a later date at Meadowvale Cemetery in Brampton. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to North Bramalea United Church Seniors Ministry or Lucas Holtom Carnival would be appreciated by the family.
