Obituary for Morley Moore
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Morley J. E. Moore age 84, peacefully Thursday December 21, 2017 at Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury after a lifelong battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Ed Moore and Emeline Moore (nee Craig), brothers Martin and Fred Thomson. Sister Phoebe and by a daughter Stephanie Tabaczuk (Peter) of Sault Ste. Marie. Survived by his wife of 62 years Edythe Moore of Sudbury, sisters Francis of Magnetawan. Levina of Parry Sound, Doreen and Olive of Dunchurch, sons Ted Moore (Sylvie) of Chelmsford, Stephen Moore (Darlene, predeceased) Sudbury, Ken Moore (Karen) Sudbury, Morley Moore Jr. (Tracy) Orillia, fourteen grandchildren, Graham Tabaczuk of British Columbia, Andrew Tabaczuk (Erinn) and Wesley Tabaczuk (Bryna) both of Ottawa, Chad Moore (Samantha) of Azilda, Chelsie Moore (Marc) of Chelmsford, Naomi Moore (Richard Gervais & stepdaughter Maeva) of Sudbury, Kyle Moore of Capreol, Krista Dubois (Troy) of Capreol, Lyrissa Moore (Justin) of Capreol, Lance Moore of Sudbury, Cooper and Carter Moore of Bowmanville, Brody of Orillia and Dawn Perreault of British Columbia, eighteen great grandchildren Aedyn, Adrien (AJ), Boston, Johnny, Kyle Jr, Tayton, Riya, Ayla, Noah, Caleb, Destiny, Jaxon, Zoey, Kaden, Mayssen, Leighton, Hazel, Peyton and 3 more to be born soon in the new year. Morley was retired from Falconbridge Nickel Mines. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid bowler and gardener. He won a gold medal at the Canadian Master Bowlers Nationals in Calgary and was a volunteer with youth bowling in the town of Chelmsford for over 30 years. Morley enjoyed playing in his flowers and was the director of his Horticultural Society in his retirement community of Dunchurch Ontario. Morley will be missed by many nieces and nephews and the many friends he made on his journey through life. At Morley’s request there will be no visitation but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Many thanks to all the staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice (especially the nurses and PSW’s; His pretty little birds as he called them) for the comfort you provided to our father and the rest of us during his final days.
