Michael « Mike » Sirianni CPA, CGA
1955-2017
Michael « Mike » Sirianni age 62, passed
away after a 4 year journey with cancer on November 17, 2017 at the
Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre with his loving
family at his side.
Beloved husband of Dianne (Anderson),
loving father of Marc, devoted grandfather to Teagan, cherished son of
Elsie (nee Haime) and the late Dr. Aurelio Sirianni, loving brother to
Maria Gravelle (Jean-Pierre) and David (Teresa). Predeceased by his
sister, Margaret Anne (Pierre). He will be fondly remembered by his
brother in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, god children and
friends.
Mike always said he was so fortunate
in having a great life thanks to his loving parents, siblings, spouse,
son, grandson and close friends. Employed by Exxon Mobil BSC Moncton,
Mike had a very successful career both in Toronto and Moncton and was
very well respected.
Michael was a CPA, CGA and former
Durham Region Chapter Chair while residing in Whitby, Ontario. While
living in Ajax, Ontario, Michael was one of the founding board members
of the 8th Ajax Boy Scouts that is still
thriving today in the community. Michael had several hobbies; however
his passion was for collectible cars. Michael would often mention to
his friends who dared to join walking around a car show that he forgot
more about cars that he could remember. Michael will be most fondly
remembered as a loving, kind person and would help people who were in
need. Michael will be missed greatly by his family, and all of his
friends. Most, if not all of the things Michael worked for was to
provide his family with a safe, loving and happy home
life.
The family would like to sincerely
thank the Doctors and Nurses of the Oncology Clinic and the Palliative
Care Unit of the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre for
the love and care shown to Michael during his
stay.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home,
1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00
pm. Funeral Mass at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church
(Botsford St) on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 9:30 am, with Rev.
Allison Carroll presiding. Reception in the parish hall following the
Mass. Interment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
