Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Michael “Mike” S Jacobs announces his passing on Friday May 12, 2017 at the age of 90 years.
Mike will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 63 years, Jessie (nee Petras) and his children, Ron (Susan), Len (Janine), Janet and Al (Laurie); five grandchildren, Brett, Jennifer, Leanne, Curtis and Barry. His greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who meant so much to him. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anastasia (Nancy) Jakubow, brother Adolph and sister Caroline Grabow.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Parish, 210 Haddow Close, Edmonton, AB.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to Dr. E Walter and the staff at the General Hospital Palliative Care 9Y unit. The care and compassion they showed Mike and our family was truly inspiring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s memory to the Kidney or Cancer Foundations of your choice.
