Michael Booth

Michael David Booth, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, Hanover on Tuesday, October 04, 2016. He was 72.
Born in Toronto on January 8th, 1944. Michael was the son of Hebert and « Dolly » (nee Bygrave) Booth. Michael was the Manager at Plantr for Bluewater District School Board while he was employed. Being very active in the community, Michael could often be seen assisting with local Air Cadets and Scouts. He was a supporter and member of the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation and served as a volunteer for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Anytime there was a charity BBQ around town, you could find him enjoying the goodies and supporting all the various charities that were held.
Survived by loving wife Brenda (nee Glasspole) Booth of Hanover. Loving father of Heather Anne (Rory) Maxwell of Owen Sound, Caroline Booth (Adrian Mitterhuber) of Port Elgin, Bonnie Booth of Kitchener and Derrian Booth of Hanover. Loved Grandpa of Natalie (Joe) Levesque, Brady, Keysha, Kyle, Jesse Booth-King (Kylee), Drake Booth-King, Christian, Summer and Austin. Adored by his great grandchildren Sean and Lily-Ann. Fondly remembered by his father in law Donald Glasspole, sister in law Janet (Joe) Licskai and their children Lindsay and Nicholas all of Brantford. Predeceased by his first wife Anne (nee Reid) Booth.
Families and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 10-11am where a Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
