Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by his loved
ones, on Friday, September 1, 2017 of Merrill Raulston Johnston,
DeSable, age 78 years. Dear father of Leanne (Peter) Gallant and Dawn
Johnston. Grandfather of Christopher and Brett Gallant. Brother of
Pauline Johnston and Karen (Bob) McIntee. Partner of Antje MacEachern.
Brother-in-law of Joyce Simpson (Dennis Tangen), Cheryl (Reg) Coady
and Wayne (Val) Shelfoon. Predeceased by his wife Beryl Johnston (nee
Shelfoon) and sister Lynne Johnston. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home
for visitation Tuesday 4-7 pm. No funeral service by request. Memorial
donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
