Melvin Francis Paquet
1935-2017
Melvin Francis Paquet, of Charlottetown, passed away at the
Prince Edward Home on Friday, May 12, 2017, age 82 years. Born in
Souris, PE, he was a son of the late Lorenzo and Priscilla (nee
Bourgeouis) Paquet.
Beloved husband of Roberta (nee Sutherland); dear father of
Robert (Teresa) of Edmonton, AB, Charlene (Jimmy) Iceton of Dartmouth,
NS, Steve (Linda) of Edmonton, AB, and Amy Paquet of Charlottetown,
PE; loving grandfather of Sarah, Katie Lynn, Andrew and Nicole Bowie,
Tyson, Jenna and Soliel Paquet; great grandfather of Bailey, Scarlett,
Brooke and Ethan; brother of Harold Paquet of Ontario and Lorraine
Munroe of Ontario.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers
Nelson, Eliel, Aubin, Kenneth, Henry and Eric; and sister Honnerine
Marois.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home
until Wednesday, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral
mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the Roman Catholic
Cemetery, Charlottetown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Pius X
St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Upper Room Hospitality
Ministry.
