It is with a sad heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary from this life to the next. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many. Mary is survived by husband Robert; children Eric (Nabina), Jonathan (Tomomi) and Lora Lee (Bill); 14 grandchildren; sisters Ann (Adam) and Kalina; and many nephews and nieces. Mary was born in Regensburg, Germany and was predeceased by her parents Anna and Father Bohdan Hanushevsky. There will be a Prayer Service on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 7 p.m. and the Funeral Service with be at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 501 Fourth Avenue, New Westminster, BC on Tuesday,April11,2017at10a.m.AReception will follow immediately after the Funeral Service in the church hall where friends and relatives can reminisce their fond memories of Mary. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favourite charity–Mary would have liked that very much.
