Obituary for Mary Patricia St.Pierre
In loving memory of
Mrs. Mary Patricia St. Pierre (nee Dent)
Passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Tuesday November 14th, 2017 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 94. A long-time resident of the Cochrane area, born on December 24th, 1922 in Cochrane, Ontario Mary worked for 27 years at the Lady Minto Hospital in while raising her family. Mary loved crafts, camping and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, but you could always find her at the Timmins Square looking for anything with a sale tag on it! She was the beloved wife of the late Leo St. Pierre. She will be deeply missed by her 3 children, Marlene St. Pierre, Randy St. Pierre (Maryann Johnston) and Tracey Porter (Bill Porter), her grandchildren Kevin St. Pierre, Travis Humphrys (Andrea Gagnon), Megan Lariviere (Adam Lariviere) and Chad Porter, her great-grandchildren Evan Porter, Alexandra Humphrys and Kara Lariviere. She was the sister of the late June Post, late Edith (JP) Dent, late Gwen Asselin and Butch McCu. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also predeceased by her father James Percival Dent and her mother Susan Dent (nee Scott).
Visitations will be held on Saturday November 18th, 2017 from 10:30 to 11:45 am at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 149 Third Street West, Cochrane followed by the funeral service at 12 noon at the Archbishop Memorial Anglican Church in Cochrane followed by a reception in the parish hall. The interment will be held at a later date at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery.
