Mary Jane Norman
(November 25, 1954 – October 28, 2016)
Passed peacefully away after a brief battle with cancer on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the age of 61 years.
A wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, Mary Jane will be forever remembered by her children, Catherine (Mark) Lundrigan and Albert (Leslie) Norman, grandchildren, Lydia and Sam, by her sisters and brother, Vianne (Roger) Bishop, Gail (Mike) Singleton, and Sam (Rhonda) Howell, by her brothers-in-law Alan (Betty), Barry (Cynthia), Jim (Carol), her sister-in-law, Sarah (Wayne), her mother-in-law, Barbara, and her aunt, Effie Petten .
Predeceased by her husband, Albert, father, Clarence, and mother Mary Howell. Mary Jane will also be remembered by her numerous, nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Mary Jane was very active in her grandchildren’s lives, was very kind and giving, thoroughly involved in her church, and will be truly missed by all.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus.
Visitation to take place on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 10 A.M.- 9 P.M., Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 10 A.M.- 12 Noon
Funeral service to be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from the Anglican Parish of The Resurrection, South River at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Cupids.
Memorial donations in memory of Mary Jane may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre or the Parish of The Resurrection.
