Nauffts, Marjorie Helen (Ruggles) Age 86 of Dartmouth. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Marjorie, on June 22 2016 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born May 15, 1930 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, she was the last surviving child of the late Marion (Lahey) and Perley Ruggles. Marjorie worked in various places through her life but mainly was dedicated to raising her family. She enjoyed her music, dancing, taking memorable pictures at family functions and was an avid Bingo player who also loved to try her luck at Atlantic Lotto scratch tickets. Marjorie accepted her illness with dignity. A strong will and determination helped her fighter her courageous battle with cancer. She was well loved and will always be remembered. She will be deeply missed by her surviving daughters Diane McMullin, Geraldine (Bruce) Conrod, grandchildren Danielle Walsh, Tammy (Ron Campbell) Matthews, Angela (Curtis) Purcell, Sherri Myers, Andre Hemlin, eight great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Gerald E Nauffts, daughter Pauline Nauffts, an infant daughter and son-in-law Vince McMullin; sisters Audrey, Gladys, Joan, Evelyn (Tennie), Catherine (Snookie); brothers Cyril, Donald, John, Kenneth and Joseph. We wish to extend thanks to Dartmouth General Hospital staff, VON and Wee Care personnel that provided special care during her illness. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held Tuesday June 28, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Atlantic Funeral Home Main Street Dartmouth in her memory. Folowed by a reception in the Oceanview Reception Room.
