Marilyn Faye Armstrong
Marilyn F. Armstrong, 76, of Riverview, passed away
peacefully at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on
Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Born in Berry Mills, she was the daughter
of the late Garfield and Jessie (Taylor) Johnson. Marilyn was a former
server in various restaurants in the Moncton area and a member of the
former Steeves Mountain Baptist Church.
Marilyn will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kimberly Young
(Bob) of McAdam; son, David Armstrong (Alanna) of Moncton and
stepdaughter, Judy Armstrong of Fredericton; grandchildren, Justin
Young and Brittany Young, both of McAdam; step granddaughter, Melissa
Armstrong; several nephews, one niece and their families. In addition
to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Armstrong
(2009) and brother, Harold Johnson.
A Service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held
at New Hope Community Church (formerly Steeves Mountain Baptist
Church) on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Linda Harper
officiating. Reception following the service. Interment will be in
Steeves Mountain Cemetery.
