88 years, passed away peacefully at Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Devoted wife of Murray for 69 years. Daughter of the late Art and Jean Bishop. Dear mother of Carol Ives, Wheatley; Brian (Angie), North Bay; Darl, Victoria, BC; and the late Mark. Adored grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Survived by sister Edna Trudell. Predeceased by siblings Leonard and Velma Bishop, Allen and Doris Bishop, and brother-in-law Jerry Trudell. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. For many years Marilyn was involved with the Ladies Auxiliary and the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 324, Wheatley. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) Monday 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Marilyn’s life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment at Erie Cemetery, Wheatley to follow.
