LAMERS Maria ‘Mia’ (nee van Doleweerd), Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday, July 22, 2016. Loving wife of Bernardus ‘Ben’ Lamers. Devoted mother of Michael Lamers (Cheryl Higgs). Beloved Oma of Alison and Benjamin. Dear sister of Tony (Beverly), Bill (Linda) and Andy (Jeannie). Mia was predeceased by her parents John and Adriana as well as brothers Martin (survived by Beppie), Leo (survived by Nellie), sister Joyce Titterton (survived by Harold) and her grandson Michael Nammour. Mia will be fondly remembered by Ben’s family, all of her nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 1:30 pm until the time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 2:30 pm.
