Peacefully at Miramichi Lodge Pembroke,, with her loving family by her side on Saturday August 20, 2016 at the age of 93 years. Margery McCarthy (nee Pitts), of Petawawa and formerly of Chalk River, beloved wife of the late Luke McCarthy. Loved and cherished mother of Douglas McCarthy (Trudy), London ON, Pat Pellerin (Robert), Stittsville and John McCarthy (Suzanne), Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Stephanie, Karen, Michelle (Tyler), Steven (Jodi), Paul (Deandra), Rebecca and Leah. Great grandmother of Michael ,James and Talia. Predeceased by her sister Queenie Everest and brothers John and Doug Pitts all of England. Friends are invited to share their memories of Margery with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Saturday August 27 from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 27 at 1 p.m. in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke.
