MITCHELL, Margaret (nee Morrison) Passed away peacefully on Monday June 20, 2016 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Alex. Cherished mother of Alex (Gerry), Margaret, Tom (Lydia), and Christine. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Alexander, Monique, Will, Anne, and Ian. Dear sister of Jessie Blaikley. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Margaret was an active volunteer in the Whitby community, she will be remembered for her love of dancing and her pride of being Canadian. A celebration of her life will take place at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Rd. (905-443-3376) on Monday June 27, 2016 at 2:30 with a visitation prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 2:30.
