At the PEI Atlantic Baptist Home on Saturday, November 11, 2017 of
Margaret Isabelle Shaw (Matheson), formerly of DeSable and Winsloe in
her 110th year. Much loved wife of late Archie Shaw (June 16, 1971).
Survived by son James (Donna); daughter Annita Smith (Harold);
grandchildren Wayne Shaw, Kevin Shaw (Beth), Melonie MacAusland
(Todd), Melissa Morrison (Ross); precious great-grandchildren Darryl,
Randy and Kimberly Shaw, Jayden Morrison, Mason, Morgan and Michael
MacAusland. Margaret was the oldest and last surviving family member
of James L. Matheson and Rebecca MacPhee. Predeceased by her siblings
John (Charlotte), Catherine (Robert Boyle), Euphemia and Annie
Matheson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Myron and Doreen Shaw, two
grandchildren Donnie Shaw and Rebecca Lynne Smith. The family would
like to express their thanks to all at PEI Atlantic Baptist Home who
gave our mother such wonderful care over the last years. She loved you
all and appreciated everything you did for her. You made Atlantic
Baptist her home and you her family. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home
for visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral from The Free Church
of Scotland , DeSable on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Argyle
Shore Cemetery. In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, flowers are
gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
