Margaret Ashfield Passed away peacefully in Renfrew on Saturday July 16, 2016 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband Wes and her daughter Marilyn Tubb. Loving mother to Gary (Irene). Dear grandmother to Greig (Jennifer), Shannon, Rob (Heather) and Charles. Great grandmother to Callum, Kiersten, Declan, Taylor and Brady. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially Scott Wade and Shirley Linton. Margaret married Wes in 1943 and cherished their time together, until his death in 1987. She worked in Renfrew for many years and particularly enjoyed her time working for the public school board and running the constituency office for Paul Yakabuskie. The family wishes to thank Dr. Clarke and the Palliative Care Team and also to thank the Assisted Living Program all belonging to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital. Both groups supplied exceptional, loving care. Visitation will be at Anderson Funeral Home 22 Raglan Street South Renfrew, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Renfrew Presbyterian Church on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at 11am.
