Lucille K. Sweeney
1938-2017
The death of Lucille Katherine Sweeney of Beechwood, NB occurred on
Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital,
Waterville, NB. Born May 9, 1938 at Moose Mountain, NB She was the
daughter of the late Turney and Estelle (Higgins) Lloyd. She was also
predeceased by her siblings, William, Paul, Clarence and Marilyn.
Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Conrad; 3
children, Paulette Ruff (Ralph), Katherine Cannon (David) and Lloyd
Sweeney (Marisa); 5 grandchildren, Dawn Gratton (Keith), Shane Ruff
(Sarah), Josh Cannon (Danika), Mathew Cannon and Meghan Sweeney; 4
great grandchildren, Anthony and Ashley Gratton, William and Katelyn
Ruff as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Lucille was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 4-8
pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph
Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 11:00 am. Fr. Owen
Burns as celebrant. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery.
