Lorraine Lightfoot
1932-2017
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of
our dear mother Lorraine Lightfoot. She passed
away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Prince County
Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Tuesday November 14, 2017. Born in
Yarmouth, NS, May 6, 1932, daughter of the late Daniel and Ida
(Cottreau) Comeau. Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved
husband, Arthur Lightfoot as well as her brother Bernie. She leaves
behind her devoted children Daniel, Ronnie (Leigh), Bill(Janet), and
Carol Anne (Carlos) and grandchildren Mark, Jeremy, Vafa, Saba, and
Bayan, her sister Caroline, brother Paul (Joan) as well as
nephews Tommy and Peter.
As per her wishes there will be no funeral service at this
time. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. If
so desired contributions may be made to the Canadian
Wildlife Federation or the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre. The family
wishes to thank the kindness of those at Clinton View Lodge and the
caring staff of Prince County Hospital for making Lorraine’s final
days comfortable.
