Lorraine Gillis (nee Keays)
1947-2017
Lorraine Gillis (nee Keays), of Charlottetown, passed away
suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, August 1, 2017,
age 69 years. Born in Souris, PE, she was a daughter of the late Lorne
and Minnie (nee McAdam) Keays.
Lorraine is survived by her beloved children Ronnie,
Christopher (Craig Dauphinee) and Chantell (Frank Arsenault) Gillis;
her sisters Anne (Jiggs) Poole and Rosina (Paul) Richard; and many
special nieces and nephews, in particular, Theresa Mallard, Donna
Poole and Darlene Gallant.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband
Russell and 11 brothers and sisters.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home
until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for
funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the Roman
Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9
p.m.
Donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to the PEI Humane
Society or Canadian Blood Services.
