Lois Marie Steeves Lois Marie Steeves, 82, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, July 31, 2016. Born in Salem, Albert Co., she was the daughter of the late Caleb and Laura (Jonah) Steeves. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and was formerly employed with the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. She was a member of Gunningsville Baptist Church and attended Bethel Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed watching sports on television and bowling. Lois will be sadly missed by her daughters, Cheryl Allerston (Glenn) of Moncton and Heather Tremblay (Robert) of Marietta, GA; son, Andrew Steeves (Hope) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Benjamin Allerston and Julie Allerston, Danielle Tijerina (T.J.) and Craig Tremblay, Laura Steeves and Graham Steeves; sister, Melda Smith; brother, Leslie Steeves (Gwen); godchildren, Tara and Stacey; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leigh Steeves (1996) and brother, Leonard. Thank you to Kathy Niles, K. E. Spencer Memorial Home and Doctors Gary Chesser and Corey Burton for the care and compassion shown to our mother. In keeping with Lois’ wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Interment will be held at Grey’s Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, at a later date.
