The family announces with great sadness the passing of Lionel Tapp on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of 30 years to Colleen Cook. Loving father to Natasha Audet, Pascal Tapp, Andrea Tapp (Oran Rodolphe), Marie – Josee Tapp, and Stephane Tapp. Cherished grandfather to Avarie Audet, Oceana, Aiden and Adriana Rodolphe, Danny and Steve Lavoix, Riley Tapp-Aumeau and Zack Tapp. Brother to Denise David. Predeceased by his mother Therese Auger-Legault, step-father Roger Legault and his father Elias Tapp. Lionel was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He took pride in ensuring his wife, children and grandchildren were always cared for. He was always one call away for anything that we may have needed help with and if you didn’t call him, he was sure to check in. Lionel was a loud jokester whose company will be missed. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family and his beloved pets, Harmony and his newest addition Bella. Forever in our memories and always in our hearts. Respecting his wishes cremation has taken place. A private family ceremony will be held at the Hillcrest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted with LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
